ciklo is the first pen designed, sourced, and manufactured entirely in Quebec using post-consumer recycled plastic—and it’s recyclable.
Its local production reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 99% compared to a pen made on the other side of the world.
According to Statistics Canada, an average of 145 million pens are imported into the country each year. These pens travel thousands of kilometers and often end up in landfills, made from non-recyclable plastics and parts.
Made from Post-Consumer Recycled Material
The pen’s casing is made from post-consumer recycled polypropylene (PP), which reduces the environmental impact of the raw material by 40% compared to pens made from recycled plastic bottles (PET).
Eco-Design and Minimalist Approach
The reinvented design reduces the number of parts from eight to just four, thanks to its single-material body and cap, making it easier to recycle.
Long-Lasting Gel Ink
The Schmidt gel ink cartridge outperforms traditional promotional pens, offering 1.5 times more writing distance. While the cartridge is imported from Germany, its transport-related GHG emissions are 80% lower than those of a pen imported from Asia.
Available in blue or black ink.
