Shipping & Receiving Associate

Your role at Créapub

Main tasks performed in this job:

1. Receiving and Quality Control

Physically receive merchandise and verify its compliance with purchase orders.

Update internal systems with accurate information (quantity, condition, photos, notes).

Communicate any discrepancies or issues to project managers.

2. Order Preparation and Shipping

Prepare orders according to instructions (carrier, direct-to-client or online store).

Pack orders carefully, efficiently, and in an eco-friendly manner.

Submit pickup requests and manage priorities through Teams.

3. Returns and Inventory Tracking

Coordinate with customer service regarding returns and track returned shipments.

Update the missing inventory tracker for online stores and record returns back into inventory.

Ensure proper physical organization of returned items in the warehouse.

4. Workspace Maintenance and Warehouse Management

Identify, label, and efficiently store received items.

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.

Manage shipping supplies inventory (boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc.) using the Teams file.

5. Monitoring Pending Projects

Monitor the status of projects held in the staging/holding area.

Quickly escalate any blockage or risk of delay to logistics coordination.

The profile we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

Decision-Making Authority

Prioritize urgent shipments based on deadlines and client commitments.

Select appropriate packaging based on the product and mode of transportation.

Report any delivery issues, shortages, or problematic returns and propose solutions.

Quickly escalate critical issues to the Logistics Coordinator.

Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.

Use recyclable packaging materials and minimize waste.
